BIOGRAPHY
Highly accomplished traditional Irish harper, fiddle player, performer, and prolific composer from Wolfhill, County Laois. With five years of teaching experience through Comhaltas and private tuition, alongside extensive performance experience, I have performed as a solo artist and as a member of a wide range of bands, ensembles, and orchestras.
My repertoire spans the breadth of Irish traditional music, from early and historical traditions to contemporary compositions. As a performer and composer, I bring a strong grounding in traditional Irish music together with a versatile and creative approach, allowing me to work confidently across a diverse range of musical settings and styles.

Alongside my performance work, I am an active composer with a strong interest in creating new music inspired by traditional Irish music while incorporating contemporary influences. My own compositions remain firmly rooted in the Irish tradition and have been showcased at festivals, concerts, and collaborative projects, helping me to develop a confident and distinctive creative voice. A key part of my performance repertoire is early Irish harp music from the Edward Bunting collection, through which I explore and bring to life an important part of Ireland’s historical harp tradition. I recently graduated with First Class Honours with a BA in Irish Music from the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance at the University of Limerick. My work as a performer, teacher, and composer reflects a deep respect for Ireland’s musical heritage while contributing to its continued development through performance, education, and new composition.
